Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

The Production Supervisor position is located in the Wilmington, MA area and is a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is essential in leading a team to achieve operational excellence in a company known for its commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Shift of the Production Supervisor:
M-F 3rd shift. 11pm-7am

Pay Rate/Salary of the Production Supervisor:
$40/hr plus 15% shift diff

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and optimize staffing levels for productivity.
• Maintain clear communication and documentation for effective shift handovers.
• Monitor compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Qualifications of the Production Supervisor:

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a multi-shift environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
