Cook/Dietary Position at Middle River Health and Rehab

We are seeking a skilled Cook/Dietary professional to join our team at Middle River Health and Rehab, a leading provider of skilled nursing services in South Range, WI. As a Cook/Dietary, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents, including special diets and requests

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

• Receive and stock inventory of food and supplies

• Collaborate with dietary team to plan and prepare menus

• Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other staff members

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in a related field (training or on-the-job experience will be considered)

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
