Location: New York, NY (3 days in office)
Structure : Contract 3 months to start + 12 month extension option
Pay:  $65.00 - $70.00 per hour W2

Deliverables

• Design, develop, and enhance large-scale iOS applications used by tens of millions of cardholders , delivering performant, reliable, and polished mobile experiences within a cross-functional Agile product team.
• Build and modernize iOS functionality using Swift, UIKit, MVVM, REST APIs, and modular/micro-feature (μFeatures) architecture , while maintaining, refactoring, and progressively replacing legacy Objective-C code.
• Maintain strong engineering quality through unit/integration/UI testing, XCTest, XCUITest, debugging, performance analysis, optimization, code reviews, and continuous refactoring of both modern and legacy applications.
• Support automated build and delivery practices using Tuist, xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Danger, and CI patterns , collaborating with globally distributed Product, Design, QA, backend, and engineering teams.

Experience Required

• 7+ years of hands-on iOS application development experience , ideally building large-scale, customer-facing mobile applications within complex enterprise environments.
• Advanced Swift and iOS development expertise , with strong hands-on experience with UIKit and modern architectural patterns such as MVVM and modular/micro-feature architectures .
• Strong experience integrating iOS applications with REST APIs and enterprise/backend services , including the ability to work effectively with older or bespoke backend integrations.
• Strong iOS engineering fundamentals covering functional programming patterns, debugging, performance optimization, Objective-C legacy code, unit/integration/UI testing, XCTest and XCUITest .
• Experience with modern iOS build and CI/CD tooling , particularly Tuist, xcodebuild, GitHub Actions and/or CircleCI , plus a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
