Job Title Maintenance Generalist - Danville VA Job Summary General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. The role includes setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery, learning Tyson SAP software for work orders and daily documentation, and performing required training. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery. Use Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete daily documentation. Maintain continuous production by keeping machinery operational. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience or verifiable formal schooling in a relevant maintenance/refrigeration trade. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Physical & Work Environment Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. daily. Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts in cold, damp, hot, humid, or slippery environments.
