Review and evaluate vendor information for instrumentation and electrical components and determine suitability for specific project and maintenance applications.
Prepare maintenance plans to restore equipment to operating conditions in a minimum amount of time, balancing repair costs with minimizing future failures, and contributing to routine electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities in the plant.
Assist other area engineers (production, process, electrical, project) and technicians regarding instrumentation and electrical performance, providing technical guidance as needed.
Create and modify documentation related to process operation, safety, and applicable environmental regulations, including electrical drawings and engineering flow diagrams/P&ID diagrams.
