As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch in Denver, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.05 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, phones, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service and relay information to onsite personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations by gathering details, documenting activity, and coordinating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident reports, and other records related to security-related activities, equipment status, and communications traffic.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting unusual conditions observed at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
