TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCRN preferred Must-Have: Experience in CVICU with cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients. Ability to titrate critical care drips, including inotropes and sedation. Description: The unit has a total of 28 beds. Patient care ratios are 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity. The unit provides care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, ECMO, LVAD, and heart transplants. Nurse aids are available on the unit, with 1-3 CNA's assigned. Intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers cover the unit 24/7. Respiratory therapy is available in the ICU around the clock. All RNs on the unit are required to read telemetry strips. Shifts will include both days and nights, rotating as scheduled. Weekend requirements consist of a minimum number of shifts based on the day or night schedule. Holiday rotations will follow the established staff schedule. There is no call or standby requirement. The dress code consists of royal blue scrubs. Unit-specific orientation will be provided. The charting system utilized is EPIC.
