Supplier Quality Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in St Paul, MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier quality activities, including supplier development, change control, non-conformance investigations, and corrective action programs to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance .

Rate Range: $36/hour to $38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Supplier Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage supplier quality activities, including supplier qualification, development, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Supplier Change Notifications (SCNs), conducting impact assessments and coordinating change implementation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate material non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, risk assessments, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Administer Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs), ensuring timely investigation, corrective action implementation, and verification of effectiveness (VOE).
• Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, data analysis, and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities and reduce quality risks.
• Support new product integration activities by qualifying suppliers, validating new materials, and developing receiving inspection procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Development within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing Supplier Change Notifications (SCNs), Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs), supplier qualifications, and root cause investigations using quality tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality systems, risk assessment, continuous improvement practices, performance monitoring, and regulatory/compliance requirements, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
