Trillium Drivers is now hiring a Class B Commercial Driver in Roanoke VA!

Pay: $27.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM start (Home Daily)

Commercial Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) to deliver products along assigned local routes.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery using the company's Electronic Proof of Delivery (EPOD) system.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance of assigned vehicles and work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
• Previous transportation or delivery experience in a related industry preferred.
• Ability to safely load, strap, secure, balance, and transport cargo.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A or B driving experience.
• Clean MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
