Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Georgia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active GA or compact RN licensure. Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred Responsibilities Hospital ICU setting with 24 beds and an average daily census of 19 patients Adult to geriatric patient population with diagnoses including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post‑op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT Nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:2–3; travelers should be prepared for the possibility of a 3‑patient assignment Day shift, 3x12‑hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Every other weekend required Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed EMR: Epic (experience required); also uses Pyxis and SBAR documentation 14‑week contract First‑time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Navy blue scrubs required RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day No alternate shift requests or special scheduling requests are permitted Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full calendar year before returning as a traveler Full compliance is required prior to the start date; non‑compliance may result in a two‑week pushback due to a bi‑weekly orientation schedule Scrub color: Navy Blue Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-715865 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
