Senior ServiceNow Engineer

About The Role

You'll be the primary technical resource on 2-3 client engagements at a time, responsible for platform design, configuration, and delivery. Semaphore doesn't have a bench model. When you're on a project, you own it.

This is a delivery role, not a managed services role. You'll be designing solutions, not running change tickets. Engagements typically run 10-20 weeks and involve real process design work alongside the technical implementation.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical design on ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, and Now Assist engagements
• Configure workflows, business rules, and integrations directly in the ServiceNow platform
• Facilitate client workshops and translate process requirements into platform designs
• Review your own work in code review and contribute to team standards
• Mentor junior engineers on at least one engagement per quarter

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development and configuration experience
• Experience delivering at least 2 full-lifecycle ITSM or HRSD implementations
• Proficiency in JavaScript for business rules, client scripts, and REST integrations
• Comfortable leading client-facing meetings without senior oversight
• CIS certification in at least one domain (ITSM, HRSD, or Discovery preferred)
• US time zones required (we work mostly EST/CST client hours)

Compensation

$130,000-$160,000 depending on experience. Full benefits. 15 days PTO (no maximum carryover policy). Home office stipend.
