Finish Blade Operator (Motor Grader Operator) - Heavy Highway

$28 - $35 per hour

Job Description

TradeWise is actively hiring experienced Finish Blade Operators / Motor Grader Operators for large-scale highway and civil projects in DFW.

If you specialize in fine grading, final trim, and subgrade preparation , we want to talk to you.

Position Overview

The Finish Blade Operator is responsible for precision grading using a motor grader to achieve final elevations and slope requirements on heavy civil and roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operate motor grader for finish grading and final trim
Maintain precise grade and slope
Read grade stakes and blueprints
Utilize GPS or laser grade control systems
Coordinate with earthwork and paving crews
Maintain production pace while ensuring accuracy

Required Experience

3+ years as Finish Blade or Motor Grader Operator
Experience on highway or heavy civil projects
Strong understanding of grade and elevations
Ability to work in high-production environments

Preferred Qualifications

GPS grade control experience
DOT project experience
OSHA certification

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay: $28–$35/hr DOE
