Position Overview:

Seeking detail-oriented and self-motivated Quality Control Manager to ensure all operations and procedures run smoothly and meet standards for output efficiency and quality, ensuring satisfaction of our customer. Quality Control Manager understands customer goals and procedures to be followed to meet those goals then communicates those procedures to employees before verifying the results meet the standards set forth by the customer. Candidate has an understanding of customer service and performance expectations and works to ensure job is completed meeting company's high standards for quality and service.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Gaining understanding of customer's needs and requirements, and communicating requirements and quality standards to the employees
• Devising ways to improve processes
• Improving and reviewing new specifications and procedures for processes. Training employees as necessary.
• Supervising staff members and providing guidance
• Ensuring legal obligations are followed
• Ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, including health and safety guidelines
• Overseeing procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
• Inspecting final output and ensuring it meets customer requirements and quality standards set by company

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards
• Excellent communication and listening skills

Education and Experience

• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of basic tools and their applications

• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other protective equipment
• Good hand-eye coordination

• Follows directions of manager / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly
• Must be able to climb ladders repetitively
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to complete tasks such as loading, un-loading, cleaning, shoveling, and painting.
• Ability to safely perform duties related to confined space work.
