Overview

We’re hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Stockton, CA and offering two paths in one posting :

• 13-week contract (ideal for travelers or local clinicians who want flexibility)

• Permanent placement (stable role with growth potential)

What You’ll Do

• Perform OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide interventions to improve ADLs, functional mobility, safety, and independence

• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress, and discharge planning in the EMR

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, PT/SLP, and caregivers

• Educate patients/families on adaptive equipment, home safety, and functional strategies

Requirements

• Active California OT license (or ability to obtain quickly)

• BLS (AHA preferred; setting-dependent)

• 1+ year OT experience preferred (new grads considered depending on setting)

• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
