Position Summary...

As an Associate Merchant at Walmart, you will support category management through supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. You will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance customer experience by ensuring accurate product content and executing promotional strategies. Utilizing data analysis, you will contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and assortment planning to drive category performance. What You'll Do...

• Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
• Assist merchants with resolving supplier issues and setting up new suppliers for stores and online.
• Execute customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor category performance through sales reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Develop and implement feature proposals and promotional themes across channels.
• Leverage data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Support item setup, pricing recommendations, and modular assortment execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal partners to drive business results.
