Home Care Assistant
Join University Home Care Inc as a home care assistant in Deerfield, MI, where you will provide compassionate and reliable care to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health and wellbeing.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
- Background check.
