Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree).
• Current Physical Therapy license in the State of Nevada required prior to start of assignment.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency appropriate to inpatient hospital care, including evaluation, plan of care development, skilled intervention, and discharge planning.
• Experience with typical hospital patient care equipment, evaluation tools, therapeutic modalities, electronic medical records, and standard documentation practices required.
• Ability to perform direct patient care tasks including transfers, gait training, and use of proper body mechanics; may be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, patients, and families.
• Willingness to adapt to varying caseloads, schedules, and department productivity standards.
• Preferred: Additional related education or acute care hospital experience.
