St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking a diligent and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Smithtown.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide rehabilitation services and complete Evaluations/Screens
- Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of residents
- Accurately completes and documents all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner
- Provide education on selected treatment procedures and functional activities to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Hold licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
- 1-year Physical Therapy experience in LTC setting preferred
