Compassionate Caregiver OpportunityWe are looking for a compassionate caregiver to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors' lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.Responsibilities and duties include:CompanionshipLight cooking and cleaningAssistance with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toiletingAssistance with mobility, transfers and medication remindersTransportation for appointments and assistance with errandsPerform all job duties with dignity, compassion, care and empathyQualifications and skills:Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diplomaVerify legal eligibility to work in the United StatesProof of current TB testing and health physicalMust be able to pass a criminal background check according to IL state requirementsMust be able to pass a drug testMust have personal reliable vehicle and proof of a valid driver's license and automobile insuranceMust be physically able to perform the duties of this positionPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsCaregivers must be mature, caring, punctual and reliableMust have basic knowledge of technology in order to use our cell phone app for clocking in/out, documenting completion of tasks and reporting changes in client's conditionPrevious experience working as a caregiver or experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons is requiredCompensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
