ABLE Plumbing — Gardena, CA
Full-Time | $80K–$100K Base + Commission

Responsibilities

Complete plumbing takeoffs, labor and material estimates
Review plans, specifications, addenda and contract requirements
Prepare scopes, exclusions, clarifications and proposals
Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor pricing
Bid commercial projects of $200K+
Bid public works, prevailing-wage and institutional projects
Attend site walks and pre-bid meetings
Prepare change-order pricing
Coordinate with Sales and Operations on project turnover
Track estimated vs. actual costs to improve accuracy and margins
Help develop ABLE’s estimating standards and cost database

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience preferred
Experience estimating $200K+ projects
Public works and prevailing-wage experience strongly preferred
Strong commercial plumbing knowledge
Ability to read architectural, plumbing, mechanical and civil plans
Strong understanding of labor productivity and project costing
Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Trimble or similar platforms
Southern California construction experience preferred
Field plumbing experience is a major plus

AI & Technology

Candidates should embrace modern technology and be comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or similar platforms to assist with specification review, bid analysis, scope development, research and proposal preparation.
