At Verdantas, your career goes beyond the expected, and your work helps build a better world.Ready to shape the future of resilient communities?What You'll Do:Assist Civil Group Leader with Design and Project ManagementPerform technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or municipal projects, including (as appropriate based on experience and licensure)Develop site layouts and perform detailed design and grading to ensure efficient, compliant, and build-ready project sitesPerform comprehensive stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control planning, and landscape assessments to support resilient and compliant project developmentPrepare detailed entrance layout and access design plans that ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site entry and circulationPrepare records and construction plans for agency/municipal reviewComplete various land development and environmental permitting applications.Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractorsMaintain and grow client relationships – become their trusted partnerInteract with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client reviewPrepare construction plans for agency/municipal review along with completion and submission of various land development permit applicationsWhat You'll Bring:BS degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institutionSeven or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineeringProfessional Engineer license in Tennessee preferredProject Management experience preferredProficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3DFamiliarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software and ArcGISDemonstrated ability & experience to lead a team of engineers and designersSalary Range:Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position descriptionBenefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
