Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

$2611.20/week - Job Summary: Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting within a Level I Trauma Center. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions thoroughly and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and safety protocols. Monitor patient progress, recognize changes, and escalate issues promptly. Document clinical care accurately in compliance with hospital policies and electronic health record systems. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards, including trauma experience and travel guidelines. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license in accordance with NLC guidelines. Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units. Demonstrate experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital. Be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system (preferred). Complete at least one prior travel assignment and have traveled within the last 3 years. Be willing to work 12-hour day shifts, including flexibility for weekend and holiday requirements.
