Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity involves working onsite, collaborating closely with a co-teacher to oversee and nurture a caseload of up to 15 young learners with mild to moderate needs. Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Active Colorado teaching license and Special Education endorsement required
• Experience in K-5 education and with mild/moderate learning or behavioral needs
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Comfortable assisting students with toileting and personal care tasks as needed
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging instruction and targeted support to elementary students with special needs
• Collaborating with a co-teacher to oversee a caseload of up to 15 students, directly managing 11 students while assisting others as required
• Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere that meets both academic and social-emotional needs
• Working closely with educators, therapists, families, and administrators to align services and maximize student success
• Implementing behavior intervention strategies and proactively addressing challenges
• Maintaining compliance with all documentation and state/federal regulations relevant to special education
