This role is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of rotorcraft during 24/7 emergency responses, interfacility transports, and scene calls. The pilot conducts thorough preflight planning, weather and risk assessments, and strictly adheres to FAA, company, and hospital/EMS protocols. Working closely with flight nurses, paramedics, and communications staff, the pilot ensures timely, accurate mission execution while maintaining a safety-first mindset.
