Field Reimbursement Manager, Bluegrass West

argenx seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Bluegrass West region to serve as a reimbursement and patient access resource for healthcare providers. The role involves educating customers on coverage policies, prior authorizations, and appeals while building relationships and collaborating with internal teams to remove barriers to therapy access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary reimbursement resource for healthcare providers through in-person and virtual engagement
• Educate customers on access pathways, coverage policies, prior authorizations, appeals, and patient support services
• Develop account-specific access strategies and guide providers through reimbursement challenges
• Manage complex escalations and coordinate with Patient Services, Market Access, and other stakeholders
• Execute territory plans, utilize CRM tools, and track performance metrics to optimize patient access

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare experience
• 5+ years in reimbursement, patient access, market access, or specialty pharmacy
• Expertise with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement models and payer policies
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with healthcare providers
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, prior auth, and claims processes
• Experience in specialty biologics, immunology, rare disease, or complex therapeutics
• Familiarity with buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy distribution, and site-of-care optimization
