This includes preparing patients for exams, operating ultrasound equipment, and interpreting ultrasound images. Essential Functions:Prepare patients for vascular ultrasound exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and applying gel to the skin.Operate ultrasound equipment, such as transducers and monitors, to produce images of blood vessels.Interpret ultrasound images to identify vascular abnormalities.Document exam findings in the patient's medical record.Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers about exam findings.QualificationsEducation: Associate's degree Radiologic Technology requiredBasic Life Support [BLS Certification]Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer [RDMS]Registered Vascular Technologist [RVT]Certified Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferredExperience: Prior experience working in a similarKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience with vascular ultrasound equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail.Additional Job Details (if applicable)New hires are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus!Remote Type: OnsiteWork Location: 275 Charles StreetScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Employee Type: RegularWork Shift: Day (United States of America)Pay Range: $47.00 - $50.25/HourlyGrade: 5At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
