Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will assist with the planning, organization, and management of the day-to-day operations in construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to overall project success.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre/post project design meetings and attend customer/site coordination meetings, as applicable.
• Provide support to Project Managers when orders have been received to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction schedule(s).
• Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules which include all required dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates, including comprehensive reporting and narratives.
• Update trackers daily on-site progress utilizing systems in place (database).
• Breakdown project estimate to baseline earned averages versus the bid.
• Manage resources and provide regular reporting.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction management and project management.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of RFIs and change order processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Must be willing to travel extensively (70-100%).

Work Environment

The position requires working 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and Sundays when behind schedule. National travel is required for 70-100% of the time. The company offers ample opportunities for internal growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
