Nurse Practitioner Neonatology: Portland, Maine (ME)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced NP for Neonatology provider coverage in Portland, ME. Starts 6/8/26-4/1/27, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

NP Neonatology role:

• Dates 6/8/26- 4/1/27, potential to extend
• Schedule- 12-hour shifts, days and/or nights
• No call coverage
• P a tient Census/provider - 8-10 patients per day in the NICU and 10-12 patients per day in the step-down nursery

Requirements for the NP Neonatology Role:

• Active unrestricted Maine Medical License
• Active Board Certification
• Certification- NRP
• Proficient in neonatal resuscitation and common neonatal procedures, including intubation, lumbar puncture, venipuncture, arterial puncture, umbilical line placement, thoracentesis, and thoracostomy.
• Two years of experience
