Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake interviews and assessments to gather psycho-social data from clients, their families, and other relevant sources, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client's unique situation.
• Integrate the mental health recovery model into clinical practice, employing recovery principles to support clients in their therapeutic journeys.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust crisis and treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their strengths and promoting empowerment throughout the process.
• Work closely with a range of healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s health are addressed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions to contribute to a seamless continuum of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients with co-occurring disorders, which may include substance use issues alongside mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related disorders. You will also have the opportunity to work with children and adolescents, addressing their unique developmental needs and challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their struggles, fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Active Washington state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working in mental health settings, with a particular focus on co-occurring disorders.
• Strong understanding of various counseling techniques, including evidence-based approaches to grief and addiction counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic environment.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation and Benefits
