RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. ***No block scheduling*** required.

Skills and Certifications:

• Minimum years of experience: 2 years
• Minimum traveler experience: Unit will not accept 1st time travelers unless they have a very "high level accurate skillset"
• Locals accepted / rate difference: Yes
• Skills: PICU, PEDS ER, PEDS Floor, PEDS MS. Skills: Monitoring, Vent Management, O2 Therapy, Draw ABGs
• Experience with Peds and NICU is required!
• Certs: BLS, PALS, NRP. Must have RRT credential ***Must have NC License and registered RRT***
• Preferred skills/certs/exp: Skills: Exp. with Neonates and infants, ground transport. Experience with Servo I, EKG preferred
• Certs: NPS Cert.

Job Details:

• Ratios: 10-15 ppd, Pediatrics and Neonates
• 70+ bed NICU, 10 bed PICU, 32 bed Peds Floor, 14 bed Peds ED
• Shift: 36 hours can be offered
• Unit will accept 13 weeks! 12 hr nights; 18:45 - 07:15
• Call requirement: Call may be required / workload dependent
• Float requirement: *Floating is required throughout the PEDS units and floors
• Weekend requirement: *Every 3rd weekend required
• Special procedures/unit details: 50% - 60% of NICU & PICU cases daily. NICU & PICU experience is required for this role as RRT
• Special equipment: Preferred vent: Servo I
• Scheduling: Per unit needs, ***No block scheduling***
• Unit orientation: 36 hours
• Scrubs: Black (not provided)
