Local CDL A Night Drivers | $1,500-$1,600/Week
TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers to support local operations in Shorewood, IL. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering steady Monday-Friday work, home daily, and no-touch drop-and-hook freight.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, Saturday if needed
- Dispatch: Nighttime dispatch at 5:30 PM
- Pay: Up to $0.69 per mile, depending on experience
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500-$1,600
- Route Type: Local, home daily
- Freight / Load Type: Furniture
- Handling: No-touch, drop-and-hook
- Miles: 2–5 deliveries per day
- Equipment: Freightliner/International - Automatics & Manual Tran
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ year of CDL A experience
- Clean MVR with no accidents or major traffic/DOT violations
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport furniture in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Safely complete drop-and-hook deliveries
