Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of automotive parts and repair processes. Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in an automotive body shop or related environment. Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment. Responsibilities: Assist technicians by preparing vehicles for body repair, including washing, sanding, and masking surfaces. Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure they are readily available for use. Remove and install vehicle parts such as bumpers, trim, and glass under the guidance of technicians. Clean and dispose of waste materials in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Support the team in moving vehicles within the shop and staging them for various repair processes. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure workflow efficiency. Skills: The Body Shop Helper uses physical stamina and manual dexterity daily to assist with vehicle preparation and parts handling.
