Responsible for selecting “the best of the best” products for our online customers.**Reporting Relationships:**Accountable and Reports to: Director E-commerce Fulfillment center, E-commerce Manager, E-commerce fulfillment Operations ManagersDirect Reports: None**Primary Responsibilities**:* Accurately selects groceries ordered via automated system* Ensures equipment is operated in a safe manner* Accurately selects ordered items via manual shopping in a timely manner* Selects highest quality produce, meat and other fresh products* Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones* Organizes, stacks, and stages orders for store delivery* Loads orders into trucks and securely for store delivery* Adheres to company policies and facility guidelines* Reports to work when scheduled and on time**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:*** Counts, merges and consolidates inventory* Stocks and re-packs inventory as directed* Sorts and organizes equipment* Cleans equipment and environment as directed* Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required**Education and Experience:**High School diploma or equivalent preferred.**Physical Requirements:*** Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction* Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently, 10 pounds of force constantly, and 10 pounds of force continually to move objects* Must be physically able to work intermittently in temperatures below 32 degrees F* Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:*** Commitment to the Hy-Vee mission and a willingness to promote the values of the company* Strong interpersonal skills: ability to relate to and interact with people in a friendly, professional manner* Ability to identify problems and execute solutions.* Must be able to perform addition, and subtraction involving whole numbers* Well organized, able to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.* Ability to work independently and complete daily workload with limited supervision.* Must have the ability to follow instructions for completing routine and repetitive tasks**Working Conditions**:The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. There is continuous exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, equipment movement hazards and electrical shock. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines. This is a fast-paced work environment.**Equipment Used to Perform Job:**Order fulfillment applications and interfaces.
