This position is responsible for ensuring the implementation's architectural design and the on-going and proper functioning of the functional system. The IT SAP Principal Functional Analyst leads design sessions, reviews and approves all activities related to the functional system, and configures the system as needed to meet established business objectives. The IT SAP Principal Functional Analyst is consulted on and assists with requirements gathering, providing guidance on recommendations as needed. This position collaborates with the business on current processes and proposes solutions to enhance current processes.2. Assists other functional analysts to resolve highly complex issues. Identifies root causes of incidents and approves proposed solutions.3. Leads design sessions, approves all design decisions for their functional area of responsibility, and provides guidance and advice on requirements gathering and change recommendations.4. Advises on system options, risk, cost versus benefits, industry best practices, and impacts on business processes. Collaborates with the business on current processes and solutions to enhance current processes. Reviews and approves options considered. Ensures all systems are in line with IT long-term strategy.5. Reviews and approves End to End business solutions to ensure that cross impacts are appropriately documented and addressed and that the selected approach leverages standard configurations wherever possible.6. Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on analyzing the business requirements that IT solutions must meet.7. Approves planned changes related to their functional area for Minor and Major Releases, including project planning, go-live activities, and on-going support. Works with peers and team members to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented.8. Reviews overall test plan to ensure enterprise coverage. Provides guidance and advice as needed.9. Provides functional leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members in multiple SAP functional areas. Provides technical guidance and business process expertise.Basic Qualifications:• Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP EWM for ADS• Minimum 5+ years of leading design sessions and system configurationStrong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentTravel: Preferred to work based out Client office or Remote with Travel (paid)Degree: Bachelor's in computer science or related field
