Essential Functions of the Functional Family Therapist: Therapist's time will be spent providing direct, in-person services according to established program timeframes and protocols. To provide individual, parent, family group counseling services to clients in client homes, schools, and other settings as appropriate within the context of outreach services and according to treatment plans. To complete and submit to the case file all required clinical documentation in a professional manner within established program expectations and timeframes. To complete child/adolescent and parent intake interviews and their subsequent dictation according to established program timeframes and protocol. To achieve stated treatment goals with assigned youth or families as identified by program expectations. Minimal Qualifications for the Functional Family Therapist: Master's Degree in a human service discipline Enrolled in a human service Master's program Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to meet clients in the community (mileage compensation) Physical Requirements for the Functional Family Therapist: Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Constantly Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
