About the Role:

Lowville Farmers Coop is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Agronomy Sales Representative to join our team in Lowville, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with local farmers, helping them maximize crop performance while growing your career in agricultural sales.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective farmer customers in the region

Recommend and sell agronomy products including seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and soil amendments

Conduct field scouting, soil sampling, and crop assessments to provide tailored agronomic recommendations

Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals

Stay current on product offerings, agronomic research, and industry trends

Collaborate with the cooperative team to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction

Participate in local agricultural events, trade shows, and grower meetings

Requirements:

Background in agronomy, agriculture, crop science, or a related field

Prior experience in agricultural sales or a customer-facing agronomy role preferred

Strong knowledge of crop production, soil health, and agronomic best practices

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently

CCA (Certified Crop Adviser) designation is a plus

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the local region

Must be able to lift 50lbs
