Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments following the PT's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status to supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active California PTA License (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Patient care and documentation
• Compliance and infection control
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
