Lead Financial Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented Lead Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with deep technical accounting expertise related to complex investments and a strong foundation in external reporting within the financial services industry. The role offers the opportunity to guide reporting activities, support a small team, and help strengthen reporting processes through thoughtful analysis and collaboration.Responsibilities:• Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable reporting standards and regulatory requirements.• Analyze accounting treatment and disclosure requirements for derivatives, alternative investments, and other sophisticated financial instruments.• Support SEC and annual reporting activities, including the development of clear, well-supported financial statement disclosures and earnings-per-share reporting.• Oversee key reporting workflows and provide direction to two direct reports, fostering accountability, development, and high-quality output.• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex reporting matters and align financial information across departments.• Evaluate existing reporting processes and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, control, and consistency.• Perform detailed financial analysis to explain reporting results, identify issues early, and support informed decision-making.• Research emerging accounting guidance and reporting developments to determine business impact and recommend appropriate actions.The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000.Benefits:Medical/Dental/VisionLife and AD&D InsuranceSTD/LTD401k with 6% match3 weeks PTO10 paid holidays
