A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in North Liberty, IA, focusing on chemotherapy and oncology care within a hospital setting. This contract role offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule, starting ASAP, with a duration of 13 weeks and potential for temp-to-hire placement.


Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert consultation on pharmacotherapy
• Manage pharmacokinetics assessments as needed to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize electronic health record systems, specifically EPIC, for documentation and workflow management

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Iowa or eligible to obtain a temporary Iowa pharmacist license
• Demonstrated experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy practice
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
