What You'll DoEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuriesOrder and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, X-rays, and EKGsDevelop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriatePerform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, and other in-office proceduresProvide occupational medicine services, including DOT physicals and Workers' Compensation evaluationsEducate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up careDocument patient encounters accurately using Athena EMRCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care What Makes WesTex Different At WesTex Urgent Care, we invest in our providers as much as we invest in our patients.
