Branch Operations Representative Full-time Branch Operations, Los Angeles, CA, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1379 Salary Range: $21.63 To $26.44 Hourly Greets customers and other visitors and provides help, direction or assistance as needed. Answers switchboard and transfers calls to appropriate party or takes messages as required. Sorts incoming mail and prepares for delivery to designated departments. Performs basic teller functions such as checking and savings transactions, cash receipts and payment services. Hourly Wage: $21.63 - $26.44 ESSENTIAL DUTIES Complies with aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program; specifically, with record keeping requirements and red flags associated with frontline monitoring to prevent illicit activity or money laundering; assists independent, state and federal regulator auditor. Maintains proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC. Reports any information or knowledge of any events or transactions that could cause a reasonable person to suspect activities that should be reported to the BSA department for further analysis. Responds to inquiries and provides explanations to differentiate suspicious activity from non-suspicious activity. Accesses and reviews report from the Bank’s OFAC system and FinCEN 314(a) and (b) lists and inquiries; appropriately reports positive hits detected by the Bank’s AML or OFAC software system. Identifies and mitigates potential risk issues against the Bank; assists in providing BSA, AML, OFAC and CIP compliance support; interacts with Bank personnel pertaining to such issues. Answer telephone, directs, screens calls, takes and relays messages. Provides information for callers, greets customers and visitors of the Bank. Directing individuals to correct destinations. Completes visitor registration and identification procedures. Handles requests and queries from the public. Provides general clerical and administrative support to the AVP Operations, Teller Supervisor and the Vice President Manager, Operations. Receives and sorts of mail and deliveries. Knowing customers and employees and detects unusual/suspicious activity. Supplies information to determine the extent of activity or provide explanations that would differentiate a suspicious activity from non-suspicious activity. Responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved. Receives/Process and verifies checking and savings deposits Issues receipt reflective of account deposits. Process temporary check requests and cashier check requests. Verify cash bags delivery day and bag information and courier log and bank log Cross training with teller duties. Assist with Legal Process Assist with courier routes analysis processing Back up for Copier room Maintains appropriate logs for mail incoming and outgoing. Process outgoing mail with postage and interbranch mail Assist with supply orders Must be able to multitask Processes, solves and answers customer transactions, problems or inquiries Assist with validations ordering, logging and reporting Answers telephones, answers questions and directs callers to proper Bank personnel. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations. Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time and supports the Bank’s goals and values.
