Job Details Type: Travel assignment Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,700 - $2,840 Location: Albany, NY 12208 Call Commitment: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing, interventional cardiology, or a related specialty Associate degree or completion of an approved cardiovascular training program, or graduation from an accredited allied health program Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a procedural, high-acuity environment Responsibilities Support diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures in a high-acuity cardiovascular lab setting Collect, document, and interpret clinical data to help establish accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses Assist interventional cardiology and cardiovascular care teams during invasive, noninvasive, and peripheral vascular studies Maintain readiness for procedural workflow and provide excellent patient support throughout the care process Participate in call coverage as scheduled for this travel nursing assignment Contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative cardiovascular care team Location Highlights Albany offers the energy of a capital city with a welcoming community feel.
