Medical Assistant- Days *Facility allows locals at the LOCAL RATE - Please let us know at time of submission if candidate is within 50 miles of the facility* Start date: ASAP SHIFT: Monday- Friday, 5x8's 0750-1700 First-timers accepted: YES Years of experience REQ: 1 year required Floating REQ: YES, Between providers if assigned provider is off Weekend REQ: NO On-call REQ: NO MUST be comfortable with working with adult and geriatric oncology patients Certs REQ: BLS EPIC Required Skills Required: -Adult Outpatient Clinic -General/Family Practice -12 Lead ECG -Hearing screening -Height/Weight -Vision testing -Pulse Oximetry -Vital Signs - Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse -Record History/Medications/Allergies -Biopsy -Nebulizer Treatments -Pap Smear -Immunizations -Capillary -Labeling of specimens -Sputum -Stool -Throat -Urine - UA/Clean Catch -Vaginal -Venipuncture -Wound -Blood Glucose via Glucometer -Pregnancy -Strep -Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis -Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests -Administration of Medications -Administration of TB Test -Ear Lavage -Follow up phone calls -Rooming Patients Scrub Color: Teal RTO Restrictions: PRE-APPROVED TIME OFF AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MANAGER; TIME MUST BE INCLUDED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION
