Epic Technical Manager

The Epic Technical Manager serves as the technical lead for the Epic system. This position will manage Epic system upgrades and testing efforts. The Epic Technical Manager will need to collaborate with the leadership, Epic analysts and the operational business areas to ensure optimization of the Epic system and features. This position will also coordinate production and non-production hardware and software support for the Epic infrastructure.Location:Candidates must reside in the state of Wisconsin for consideration. This position is eligible to work at your home office (reliable internet is required), at our office in Brookfield or Menasha, or a combination of both in our hybrid workplace model.Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, on call rotation to include nights, weekends, and holidaysJob Responsibilities:Direct and manage application and integrated testing efforts and system upgradesConfigure and support interfaces used to migrate application build between environments using the Data Courier applicationDefine and implement the change control process and coordinate key Epic environment activities including updates, upgrades, and build migrationTrack update and patch levels for each production and non-production environmentCoordinate and prepare for the successful testing of system changes prior to live deploymentPrepare and update business specifications, process flow diagrams, and technical documentationDefine and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance processEnsure that technical requirements and tasks are understood, clearly communicated and executed on timeAct as a liaison between the technical team and application teamCoordinate production and non-production hardware and software support for the Epic infrastructureLead infrastructure capacity planning and monitoring activitiesOrganize and complete projects and tasks on time, according to prioritizationTimely response to business needs as defined by the business ownerPerform a thorough review of all Foundation Build and operational requested content and workflows for applicationJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline preferred.Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degreeMinimum of 3 years’ experience in development, systems design, technical analyst, or similar discipline required1+ years relevant experience with EpicHealthcare or health insurance background requiredCurrent certification in appropriate modules, as requiredData Courier Administrator, etc.Upon hire, certifications must be obtained in an agreed upon timelineNetwork Health is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob SummaryRequisition Number: EPICT002381Job Category: Information SystemsSchedule: Full-Time
