Senior Manager - Operations

Oversee the transportation and logistics department's daily operations Coordinate with internal departments, including sales and customer service, to meet customer needs Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and other external partners Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions Conduct regular audits for compliance with company policies and regulations Provide timely and accurate reports to management Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation and logistics management Experience in the freight forwarding industry preferred Bachelor's degree in transportation and logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred Strong organizational and project management skills Knowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and compliance Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Fluent in English, oral and written Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Certification in transportation and logistics, such as Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP), preferred Experience with transportation management software (TMS) preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in transportation and logistics management, with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction.
