Title
Registered Nurse - Outpatient Hematology

Schedule
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Requirements
- Minimum RN experience: 2 years
- Valid RN license required
- Certification: BLS
- Travel experience: Required
- Key clinical skills:
- Peripheral IV starts and IV therapy
- Phlebotomy (peripheral and central/line draws)
- PICC/port access and care
- Blood product administration
- IV medication administration (including chemotherapy and IV antibiotics)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and blood transfusions
- Perform IV therapy and manage central lines
- Conduct blood draws and monitor patients for oncologic emergencies
- Implement infection prevention protocols and manage patient safety measures
- Provide pre- and post-care for patients undergoing treatments for hematologic malignancies

Compliance / Notes
- Strict deadline for credentialing and fingerprinting
- RTO (return-to-office) requirements must be followed
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
