As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the company's day-to-day and month-end accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the continued growth of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle accounting experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while partnering with leadership across the organization. Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Lead month-end and year-end close processes. Analyze financial data and prepare monthly reporting packages. Manage balance sheet reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. Support external audits and year-end tax preparation. Monitor and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures. Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist with project accounting and cost tracking as needed. Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting department. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 4+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with fixed asset accounting . Experience with cost accounting within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or project-based environment. CPA designation or CPA-track candidate is a plus.
