Statewide Medical Director

OverviewCenturion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Statewide Medical Director to join our Leadership Team based out of our Regional Office in Jefferson City, Missouri.ResponsibilitiesThe Statewide Medical Director provides the comprehensive medical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of a specific contract in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations/Regional Vice President, and provides the clinical and utilization management direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements for the specific contract. The Statewide Medical Director will also mentor, clinically supervise and evaluate the team-delivered medical services for the patients at all facilities of the contract and promote the culture of quality medical care using evidence-based standard of care.Additionally, the Statewide Medical Director will serve as the contract’s clinical expert, provider resource, clinical and medical management leader, and clinical outcomes driver. The Statewide Medical Director will represent correctional healthcare to the client and the contract’s providers.
