Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Every Third Saturday Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to inpatient rehabilitation patients across multiple diagnoses
- Deliver specialized care with a focus on spine, neurological, and comprehensive memory care populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Document patient progress, goals, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Float within the specialty area as operationally required
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday coverage as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active state Occupational Therapist license (must be valid for practice in Maryland)
- Current NBCOT certification
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Strong clinical background in spine, neurology, memory care, and multiple-diagnosis patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Comfort with floating within specialty scope as needed
