Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Arvada, CO. This full-time assignment spans the academic year, from August 19, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing meaningful services to elementary, middle, or high school students. You'll work a minimum of 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday, in a welcoming educational environment where your expertise and compassion can make a true impact.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state, or eligible for licensure by the assignment's start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred, but strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children at any level are welcome
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy services to students across assigned age groups
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of all services and progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
- Support inclusive practices within classroom and school settings
